We are Lemongrass Organic Tea Estates Private Limited (LOTEPL), a company founded on the principles of environmental, social, and economic sustainability, with a passion for biodynamic and organic tea farming.

Our story begins with a love for tea and a commitment to producing the highest quality teas. Decades of rich experience have taught us that great tea is not just about the leaves but also about the values that go into it. We have intertwined age-old values – such as respect for the land, deep care of nature, and the well-being of our workers – with modern technology and practices to bring to the world the best that Darjeeling has to offer.

We currently operate nine tea estates nestled in the lush hills of Darjeeling. At the same time, we are dedicated to bringing new life to sick tea estates and reviving sustainable livelihoods for our workers and their families.

Our tea gardens are a symphony of scents, where the leaves of our exclusive, biodynamic and fair-trade teas are carefully tended to by our experienced team. Our bouquet includes classic black, green, and white teas, as well as a wide range of specialty blends.
